Palazzo Altucci

It is situated at 45-41, Corso Italia.

It is undoubtedly the oldest and the most remarkable Medieval building in town. Unfortunately, in 1943, it was hit by some bombs which partly destroyed it, leaving only the right side intact. This building is quite similar in structure to the Palazzo del Popolo and the Palazzo del Comune - The Town Hall. The Altucci family were Guelfs and their coat of arms can still be seen over the entrance door of the building.
